Tudor Money pot, common find. A number were excavated from the site of the Elizabethan Rose Theatre site, on the south bank, London. The quantity found is thought to indicate the site of the box office of the theatre!
There is no opening to extract your coins. The opening is much smaller than modern money pots, as the coins of the day were much thinner.
